Print Scotland – A certified “Living Wage Employer”

Print Scotland has launched into 2018 by becoming  a certified “Living Wage Employer”

Print Scotland has joined the other employers who are already accredited with the Living Wage Foundation. These companies and institutions include 1/3 of the FTSE 100 and big household names including ITV, Google, IKEA, Heart of Midlothian PLC, Royal Bank of Scotland, and the Scottish Parliament.  93% of Living Wage Businesses say that they have benefited from becoming part of the scheme.

The real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate that is voluntarily paid by over 3,800 UK businesses who believe their staff deserve a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work. Accredited employers pay the real Living Wage which is higher than the government minimum.

Garry Richmond of Print Scotland said of the scheme:

I’m delighted to support the Living wage initiative on behalf of Print Scotland and to promote the take up of  “fair work policies” within the printing industry.
